Cuoco Kaley
Cuoco Kaley Christine Cuoco (born
November 30, 1985 in Camarillo,
California) is the actress who plays
the spunky and common sense
waitress/actress named Penny, on the
hit geek-comedy, The
Big Bang Theory. Cuoco 's
best known role prior to her run as
Penny on Big Bang Theory, was in her
role as Bridget Hennessy on the Emmy
Award-winning sitcom 8 Simple
Rules (2002–2005), where she
played the daughter of the late John
Ritter. One of Kaley Cuoco's first important
roles was portraying the actress
Maureen McCormick in the 2000 TV movie
Growing Up Brady. Kaley Cuoco's role as the non-geek
on Big Bang Theory introduced her to
Johnny Galecki, who plays Leonard
Hofstadter on the show. One of the
central recurring themes in Big Bang
Theory is the on-again off-again
romantic relationship that Penny and
Leonard pursue. Life imitated fiction
when the two actors began dating in
real life, and were secretly a couple
for nearly two years. Kaley
