Scarlett Johansson's
                              appearance at the 2012 Democratic
                              Convention thrilled the audience of
                              fervent Democrats as she took the stage
                              to endorsed Barack Obama and the
                              Democratic Party. Recalling how she
                              would go into the voting booth with her
                              mother during her childhood, to "help"
                              her mom, who she described as a
                              registered Democrat, to vote. Scarlett
                              Johansson also mentioned with pride
                              that she was able to vote for Barack
                              Obama in the last election, and that
                              being able to do so filled her with
                              pride.
                              
                              
Wearing her hair short, the petite
                              blonde wore a casual suit jacket over a
                              white t-shirt emblazoned with the
                              American flag, with maroon colored

Besides the speech by Scarlett
                              Johansson, another interesting aspect
                              of her appearance at the Democratic
                              National Convention was the fact she
                              was in the company of her ex-boyfriend,
                              Jared Leto. They were seen holding
                              hands and looking generally happy to be
                              at the DNC and happy to be together in
