Kate
Middleton Catherine Elizabeth "Kate" Middleton (b.
January 9, 1982) --is the wife of Prince William.
Kate Middleton married Prince
Willliam on April 29, 2011. Kate
Middleton Kate Middleton, Britain's newest princess,
met her Prince Charming at the University of St.
Andrews in 2001 She grew up in Chapel Row at
Bucklebury, a village near Newbury, Berkshire,
England. Kate Middleeton studied in Scotland at
St. Andrews. Soon after meeting, Kate Middleton and Prince
William began dating, and though their
relationship broke off in 2007, after a few
months, they once again rekindled their romance,
which led to their engagement in October, 2010
while on a safari vacation in Kenya. The public
was not informed of the engagement until
November 16, 2010. Kate Middleton does not come from a family
with royal or noble heritage, and after
graduating from St. Andrews, she worked as a
accessory buyer with a clothing chain, beginning
work at Jigsaw in 2006. She left Jigsaw in 2008,
and worked for her parents' firm Party
Pieces as a webpage designer and
marketer. As with all things related to the Royal
Wedding, the world eagerly anticipated pictures
and images of Kate Middleton's wedding
dress. In November, 2011, rumors spread in the
internet and other media that Kate Middleton was
pregnant. On December 3,
2012, it was announced that William and Kate
were expecting their first child. Duchess Kate's
early pregnancy was marked with acute morning
sickness known as hyperemesis gravidarum, which
forced her hospitalization. The Palace
announced the pregnancy as the reason for Kate's
hospitalization. Apparantly, the news of the
pregnancy took the other Royals by surprise, as
William and Kate had not informed family prior
to her trip to the hospital. Kate Middleton in
