Kristen Stewart (b. April 9,
1990), is an actress best known for
playing in the popular Twilight
movie franchise. She is also known for
he role as Snow White in Snow
White and the Huntsman
(2012). While best known for playing the
role of Bella Swann in Twilight,
Kristen Stewart has also portrayed
female rocker Joan Jett in The
Runaways, and earned rave reviews
as Snow White in Snow White and the
Huntsman. Born in California to parents who
worked in the entertainment industry
behind the camera, Kristen Stewart's
was "discovered" by a talent agent who
saw her perform in a grade school
Christmas play at the age of eight.
Deciding to pursue acting, Stewart
spent the next year auditioning for
acting roles. Kristen Stewart's first
professional acting role came as a
minor non-speaking part in a Disney
Channel movie called The Thirteenth
Year. After that debut role,
Stewart landed another part in the film
The Flintstones in Viva Rock
Vegas as the "ring toss girl".
Following that, Kristen Stewart
appeared in the independent film The
Safety of Objects, in which she
played the daughter of a troubled
single mother (Patricia Clarkson). In
her next film, Stewart, by now aged 12,
played the tomboy character of Sarah
Altman in the film Panic Room,
Sarah Altman was the diabetic daughter
of a single mother played by Jodie
Foster. Kristen Stewart was nominated
for a Young Artist Award for her role
in the Panic Room. Following the success of Snow White
and the Huntsman, Kristen Stewart was
involved in scandal that seemed sordid
even by Hollywood standards. Word came
out that Stewart had engaged in an
affair with the married director of the
Snow White movie, while Stewart was
still romantically involved with her
Twilight co-star, Robert Pattinson.
Rumors circulated after this news that
Kristen Stewart was out as the co-star
