Captain America--The Star-Spangled Avenger, originally a hero in the Second World War, now a leader of the Avengers.

The Death of Captain America--Obituary of the Sentinel of Liberty, who fell to an assassin's bullet on March 7, 2007.

The Fantastic Four--The First Family of Marvel.

Iron Man--The Armored Avenger, who in real life is billionaire playboy Tony Stark. Iron Man is a founding member of the Avengers.

She-Hulk--The green-skinned cousin of the Incredible Hulk. She-Hulk is a member of the Avengers and an occasional member of the Fantastic Four and Heroes for Hire.

Supergirl--The Maid of Might, Superman's cousin from Krypton.

Superman--The Man of Steel, the nail that holds the Justice League together.

Captain America Vol. 5 # 25: Death of A Dream --Info and analysis on the 25th issue of Captain America, which features the shooting death of the Sentinel of Liberty.

Fantastic Four vol. 1, #1--First appearances of the Fantastic Four and the Mole Man.

Fantastic Four vol. 1, #50--Info and analysis on the fiftieth issue of the Fantastic Four featured the Silver Surfer, Galactus, and the Watcher.
