Tom TSquared Taylor

Tom Taylor (b. October 15, 1987) is an American electronic gaming (video game) professional.

Tom Taylor signed a quarter million dollar contract with Major League Gaming (MLG) in June of 2004 at the age of 17, and currently earns between $120,000 and $150,000 per year in gaming prize money. Major League Gaming is a professional gaming league which tours across the United States. Taylor also runs a business called Gaming Lessons, which he started in September of 2005. Taylor tutors Gaming Lesson clients to help them achieve a higher level of success at electronic gaming.

Taylor, who can be described as a "cyber-athlete," like many professional athletes and competitors, must practice his game, often playing games for up to 12 hours a day as preparation for professional competitions. He also takes care of his physical being through an exercise regime and good diet to keep a mental and physical edge.

He is the team leader of Str8 Rippin, with MLG, and of course, he is one of the league's top-ranked players.

TSquared was featured on MTV's documentary series True Life: I'm a Professional Gamer, and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. He also appeared as part of Stuff magazine's list of 20 most influential people under the age of 30 in August 2006.

Born in Syracuse, New York, Taylor currently lives in Jupiter, Florida. He is a professional-level player of the popular game Halo 2, but he also plays Halo 1, Area 51, NBA Live, Madden, Mortal Kombat, and Guitar Hero.
