Sept. 27, 2010 -A parked car bomb targeted the motorcade of Chief of Iraqi Police in Kirkuk, Col. Ahmed Resheed, at 7:30 a.m. Monday, injuring the colonel and three of his security guards. The explosion also wounded three civilians.

Sept. 26, 2010 --A suicide bomber driving a car bomb successfully targeted the motorcade of chief of police of Halabsa area, Lieut. Col. Salam al Halbusi, in Garma, seven miles to the north of Fallujah, Sunday, killing al Halbusi and seriously injuring three of his security guards, one policeman and one civilian. This was the fifth attempt on his life

Sept. 26, 2010--Iranian forces crossed the border into northern Iraq to strike at a Kurdish Iranian rebel group in retaliation for a bombing inside Iran that killed 12 in a military parade in the town of Mahabad. Iran claimed to have killed 30 rebels on the Iraqi side of the border.
